He yesterday conferred with the outgoing Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice who assured him that, together with the outgoing president, Geroge W. Bush, she will present to members of the new administration, the arguments which lay at the roots of the US-Polish agreement on the locating an American missile shield installation on Polish territory.
Talking to reporters, the Polish Foreign Minister called for patience and realism in anticipating an implementation of the agreement by the new administration. ‘Poland’, he said, ‘wants the agreement to be translated into practice. We have to be realists, however, and do not pretend that we have a stronger force of argument than it is in reality’, he added.
